Идентифициране на хардуерни и софтуерни проблеми / Identify hardware and software problems
Съвременните компютърни системи са сложни устройства и като всяка машина могат да имат различни технически проблеми. Тези проблеми можем да класифицираме в два вида: хардуерни и софтуерни.
Най-често срещаните хардуерни проблеми са:
- Компютърът или работи с намалена производителност или изобщо не работи;
- Захранването на системата не работи;
- Проблеми с централния процесор;
- Проблеми с оперативната памет;
- Проблеми с видеокартата;
- Проблеми с периферните устройства.
Най-често срещаните софтуерни проблеми са:
- Проблеми с Операционната система;
- Проблеми на програмата (софтуера), свързани с хардуерен проблем;
- Проблем на програмата, свързан със самата програма (неправилна настройка или проблемен код на програмата).

- The power supply to the system does not work;
- CPU problems;
- RAM problems;
- Video card issues;
- Peripheral problems.
The most common software problems are:
- Problems with the Operating System;
- Program (software) problems related to a hardware problem;
- Program problem related to the program itself (incorrect setting or problem code of the program).
One way to manage hardware devices on a computer is through the built-in Windows Device Manager module. This module provides information on how the hardware of a computer is installed and configured and how it communicates with the installed programs. Device Manager allows us to: identify the working hardware (what devices we have installed) on the computer; to change hardware settings; remove, change or update the drivers of the devices that are installed; to stop the operation of a device; to detect and resolve problems between devices.
* A driver is a computer program that manages or controls the interaction between an running program and a hardware device.
Task Manager is a module that allows you to see the activity
of a computer and to check the operation of programs, services and processes
currently running, as well as the use of CPU, memory and network traffic. You
can start the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc, or by pressing Ctrl
+ Alt + Del, and then select Start Task Manager.
To see what processes are used by a given application,
right-click on the application and select Go To Process in the context menu
that opens. This action will automatically open the Processes page, where you
can see the processes associated with the selected application.
To start new
applications, press the New Task button or select New Task (Run…) from the File
menu. The Processes page provides information about all processes running on
the computer. There are often multiple processes for each application.
To learn more about a process we need to right-click on it and select from the context menu Properties. To find the folder on your hard disk that contains this process, right-click on the process and select Open File Location. A window opens showing the folder from which the process was started.
